IV Antioxidants

Oxidation is a normal process that occurs during respiration. Oxidative stress, on the other hand, occurs when there is an imbalance between free radicals and anti-oxidants in our body. Free radicals are unstable molecules with unpaired electrons which are highly dangerous. Anti-oxidants can bind these free radicals and stabilize them.

When there are more free radicals present than can be kept in balance by antioxidants, the free radicals can start doing damage to fatty tissue, DNA, and proteins in your body which can lead to chronic health issues over time. These include:

  1. Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s
  2. Inflammatory conditions
  3. Atherosclerosis
  4. Heart disease
  5. Hypertension
  6. Diabetes
  7. Cancer

How to prevent / mitigate Oxidative stress?

Oxidative stress can be kept in check by increasing the anti-oxidant stores in our body. This can be achieved quickly through our IV Antioxidant drips.

Glutathione

Glutathione is the mother of all anti-oxidants. It performs several important functions in the human body such as scavenging of free radicals, preventing oxidative damage to cells, detoxification of toxins and harmful drug metabolites in the liver. Reduction in Glutathione levels leads to cell death and it has been documented in many degenerative conditions. Glutathione reduction is caused by many conditions including chronic infections, autoimmune diseases, chronic fatigue, heavy metal toxicity, etc.

IV Glutathione is helpful in patients with

  1. Parkinson’s Diseases
  2. Liver Diseases
  3. Alzheimer’s
  4. Multiple Sclerosis
  5. Chronic Back Ache
  6. Compromised Immunity
  7. It can also be used to improve skin tone, for general rejuvenation and healthy aging.

Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA):

Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a unique anti-oxidant because it is both water and fat soluble. This means that ALA can remove the toxins from the fatty tissue and also the toxins floating around the cells. ALA, being fat soluble, can also cross the blood-brain barrier and reduce inflammation and oxidative damage in the brain cells (neurons). Research has also shown that ALA improves insulin sensitivity dramatically proving to be very useful for diabetics.

Conditions in which ALA is helpful:

  1. Parkinson’s
  2. Alzheimer’s
  3. Diabetic Neuropathy
  4. Cancer
  5. Insulin Resistance

Mitochondrial Booster:

A cocktail containing L-Carnitine and N-Acetyl Cysteine in the right dosage. They improve energy production in the mitochondria (the powerhouse of our cells). L-Carnitine also improves muscle mass and is essential for cardiac health. N-Acetyl Cysteine is the precursor to glutathione and also helps in the detoxification processes in the liver.

Useful in

  1. Improving energy levels
  2. Heart Diseases
  3. Chronic Kidney Disease
  4. Liver Disorders
  5. Chronic Fatigue
  6. Improves memory
  7. De-addiction

Vitamin C:

Vitamin C is powerful, water-soluble anti-oxidant. It plays key roles in collagen synthesis, immune function, synthesis of neurotransmitters and also in gene stability. Humans do not have the ability to synthesize Vitamin C and hence it should be supplemented on a daily basis. During times of stress and diseases, the requirements for Vitamin C is increased which can only be met with IV infusions.

Useful in

  1. Viral Infections
  2. Heart Diseases
  3. Autoimmune Diseases
  4. Cancer
  5. Oxidative Stress
  6. Chronic Sinusitis
