Hormonal Imbalances

Hormones are chemicals produced by the glands of the endocrine system. Hormones are master regulators of important biological processes like metabolism, body temperature, sexual and reproductive function, sleep cycle, etc.

Hormonal imbalances occur when there is too little or too much of a hormone. Because they control essential processes, even a small change can cause a wide variety of symptoms.

  1. Weight gain
  2. Fatigue
  3. Bloating, constipation, diarrhoea
  4. Hair Loss, thinning brittle hair
  5. Irregular periods
  6. Excessive bleeding
  7. Infertility
  8. Loss of libido
  9. Sensitivity to cold or heat
  10. Sleeplessness
  11. Profuse sweating
  12. Irritability, anxiety
  13. Changes in appetite

Benefits of correcting hormonal imbalances: -

  1. To prevent diabetes, hypertension and heart disease.
  2. To prevent the development of Alzheimer’s Disease and other Dementias.
  3. To maintain our mental well-being.
  4. To live longer, happier and healthier.
  5. To keep our bones strong even in old age.
  6. To maintain efficiency of our immune system.

After thorough blood investigations checking the levels of essential hormones in our body, we correct any imbalances by applying the following the principles:

Use only Natural Hormones:

Natural Hormones are identical to the hormones produced in the body whereas synthetic hormones are those which are not structurally similar but act like a hormone. All side effects attributed to Hormone Replacement are from the use of synthetic hormones. That is the reason we use only Natural Bio-Identical Hormones to correct any deficiencies.

Replace every hormone that is deficient:

For hormones to carry out their functions properly, other hormones must be present in the appropriate levels. For this reason, it is critical to optimize all hormones for the best results.

Individualize all doses:

The right dose for one patient may be too much or too little for another patient with the same symptoms. We individualize doses for each patient according to their blood levels.
